Who are you and what is it you do?
Hi! I’m Yasmin, co-founder of Sweet Pea & Poppy. I love creating chocolates for gifting and indulging.
Why do you think people love your product so much?
We have had really lovely feedback on the flavour varieties, ‘prettiness’ of the product and the floral notes on the packaging. Thank you!
What has been your favourite moment in your business so far?
Creating a business with my mum was a pretty special way to start. Meeting other small business owners and sharing the insights, joys and challenges is always a highlight.
Where do you go to for inspo?
My mum, Karen! She ran her creative business from home and it was a terrific family environment. Her approach to work, commitment to quality and her kindness are inspiring.
You’ve got a whole week off work. Where do you go?
Hobart, to visit Sophie and the crew at Cabbages!
Seriously, a Hobart trip with a visit to Cabbages, a visit to MONA, a Mount Wellington hike and plenty of food and wine sounds pretty perfect!
What’s the last movie you saw and did you like it?
Frozen with the kids for our most recent movie night. Fab movie, but on the wishlist is a trip to the movies with adult company and wine
